Here’s a pin-up sketch to test out, ‘made with mischief’ (or just, mischief), a simple sketching program recommended recently by Stephen Silver. It is very intuitive, I’m not very technically savvy, but was able to just open this up and start drawing. I forgot I was testing out an unfamiliar software, as the few hot keys I use, for sketchbook pro, were similar in mischief. I love the endless canvas, the ‘paper’ BG library, and the pencil, but it’s not quite set up for storyboard work…yet. At $65US I might pick this up for my doodling needs, and keep my eye on them as they continue to improve the program:)

Gravity Falls fanart! Dipper fleeing from some winged, nameless beast. Kudos to all who work on that show, it’s funny, eerie, occasionally violent, and as suspenseful as 22 minutes allow, all from Disney!..most networks neuter those of us that work on children’s TV, but the studio most lauded for it’s wholesome, family friendly entertainment has the guts, and respect for it’s audience, to let the storytellers use any tools necessary to engage their viewers. Keep up the great work!
